History
The American Legion swimming pool opened on August 15, 1928. Twenty-nine years later, on June 16, 1957, the present pool was opened. $55,000 in pool bonds was issued to construct the pool on land purchased from the American Legion. The pool is 35 yards long and has two diving boards and a kiddie pool for children under 5 years of age.
